The mandrill is a large monkey. Like their cousins, the rhesus macaques, they will attempt to raid your fortress' exterior for food and crafts. Unfortunately, the mandrill's bloodlust is only qunched by tearing off the limbs of nearby dwarves, the only known surviors of constant attacks of dismbering monkeys were the villagers of boatmurded. according to reports, these beasts were easily capable of overwhelming a solitary dwarf. They attack in packs of five to ten. They can be tamed and made a pet if caught.
Leeches are hateable vermin and will give unhappy thoughts to dwarves who absolutely detest leeches when they encounter them.
Little to dwarves know, that this is actually the creture that links elves and nobles together. like their cousins, the Leech man, although leech men are closer in the DNA line to nobles than eleves
Although, the act of beating other people for fun seems to entertain dwarfs and men alike, surely if this skill were alive, it would bestow a happy thought?

Mandrills

A once fearsome animal turned tame by the updates, these animals; like elephants are quite prominent in the story of boatmurdered being known to rip limbs off, but now they have been reduced to a nuisance although they can be incredibly annoying and possibly dangerous even in this tamer state. They disrupt jobs and bite if cornered or surprised by an awkward dwarf, and have been known to attack domesticated animals as well. They are also able to steal food and items left outside unattended.

They are trainable into War/hunting mandrills. See Animal Training for how this is done, and for a list of other trainable creatures.
