Summary

Description
English: Pewter ewer with large central portion with spout off the proper left side, and a thin neck with stopper. On the front of the ewer is a shield engraved with the words, “Jaya Raya” with an obelisk surrounded by a floral wreath. Both the stopper and the accompanying dish are stamped with the words “Indonesian Tin Art / Handicrafts / RTA.” The ewer is enclosed in a batik covered box of brown print design with red velvet lining on the inside. Received on the occasion of President Gerald R. Ford’s trip to Indonesia in 1975. Gift of General Ali Sadikin, Governor of the Special District of Djakarta, Indonesia.
