If add to megabeasts [POWER], they can live in killed cites and fortresses like lairs. unsigned comment by

That's exactly what [POWER] does - it lets the creature impersonate a divine being, and rule over a city/fortress this way. -- DarklingArcher (talk) 20:07, 12 April 2019 (UTC)
But semimegabeasts (I know ettins and giants) can live in not killed cites, rule and not kill civilians. Why dragons cannot life in peace? -- 22:17, 12 April 2019 (UTC)
Because it requires an ability to speak if the creature has to do anything other than settle here, and dragons in Dwarf Fortress are unintelligent and cannot speak. -- DarklingArcher (talk) 22:38, 12 April 2019 (UTC)
Can speak or can learn? unsigned comment by
The Wiki says CAN_SPEAK, but personally I don't know. Try both. -- DarklingArcher (talk) 12:02, 13 April 2019 (UTC)
So, I give to all megabeasts power and ability to speak. In cave one hydra live with animals. In some fortress I find two rocs, two dragons or three hydras. In sites with humans live ettin, cyclops and minotaur. Interesting thing: world have first and second ages of myth and of legends. Also, weapon become artifact if kill in worldgen one creature with [POWER].
