A cougar is a carnivorous feline creature found in a wide range of biomes. While no match for Template:L Template:Ls, it can take down a Template:L quite easily, and can be a significant threat to unarmed Template:L caught outside. When killed and butchered, the resulting Template:L and Template:L are of better than average value (6☼ and 15☼ respectively).
Lone cougars sometimes ambush players in random encounters in Template:L. Even for inexperienced characters, these fights are extremely simple. However if they get a lucky strike they can bite an armored leg off in one hit.
