Scribes are an assigned occupation at libraries. They can be assigned in the Locations and Occupations menu (l).
Scribes make copies of scrolls, quires, and books.
Bugs
If a scribe switches to another activity (such as sleeping, drinking, doing other work) in the middle of copying a book, the scribe will not return to the original task and instead sits idle without copying other books.Bug:9518 A potential solution is going through the books on the library table.
