Do you (the latest contributor) suggest that there shouldn't be any of these kinds of jokes at all? I'd say that is the point of the D for Dwarf tagging, along with a few non-canon dwarven tales and meta-jokes. As long as the D for Dwarf parts are sufficiently separated from the main article so to not cause confusion I see no problems with this.
I've re-added the erased content for now.
