While they do have the requisite [EVIL][SLOW_LEARNER] tags, their underground depth is 2, so I'm somewhat curious how this happens. Single-cavern world? A random taming during centuries of ongoing history? Lucky placement of dark fortress in initial worldgen, regardless of number of caverns?
