I've been getting alternating values for the walls (all diorite blocks) I build: some add 14 to architecture, some only 8. Is there a reason why the value is not constant?--Afghani84 (talk) 07:03, 8 March 2015 (UTC)

My guess would be that the walls which add a (visible) floor on the level above gain the extra value for that floor. If the tile above already contains something then no new floor gets created, and no bonus value is added. Also, building a wall on top of another wall could conceivably remove the value for the covered floor and add value for a new uncovered floor above, resulting in a value bonus of 0. Hypothetically, it is possible that constructing a wall on an implied floor with another wall in the tile above would have a net architectural value of only 2.--Loci (talk) 16:29, 8 March 2015 (UTC)
There are some trees with leaves hanging over parts of the wall. That might be it then. I'll build some more to see whether that's the reason. That should also mean that I get the architecture boost once I cut down the trees, right?--Afghani84 (talk) 06:43, 9 March 2015 (UTC)
