This is a demonstration shot of my mechanical volcano in operation. There is a surface breaching magma pipe in the centre of the map.
To create this image I exported the images for each surface level of my map, cut them out, layered them, darkened each layer with 20% black wash, and applied a blur n+1 times for each layer (first layer no blur, second - one, third - 2, fourth - 3 etc).
