This is for discussing wiki-related things specific to the Masterwork wiki (in the Masterwork: namespace). For discussions relating to the entire wiki, see Talk:Community portal.

Links

Proposal:

  • Links within the Masterwork namespace can use normal link syntax ([[Article]]).
  • Links to a page that is guaranteed not to be Masterwork-specific (e.g. Framerate) should use this syntax:
[[cv:ArticleName|(title)]]
(Leaving out the title will use the article name, like a normal link.)

Templates

Proposal:

  • All articles should use the {{av}} template, above banner templates but below infoboxes (like a normal/vanilla article).
  • If an article relates to a specific playable race (Orcs, for example), be sure to include that below the {{av}} template.

Sidebar

I think adding links to the Masterwork Main Page and Community portal to the sidebar in the Masterwork namespace. (See Mediawiki talk:Sidebar for an example.) Any thoughts on this? --Lethosor (talk) 19:31, 27 April 2013 (UTC)

Done. --Lethosor (talk) 17:18, 15 September 2013 (UTC)

Sprites

I think Masterwork uses a lot of custom sprites by default. What about adding them to the creature pages in addition to the ASCII symbol? --J. d'Orc (talk) 13:15, 16 June 2013 (UTC)

Something like this is in progress for workshops, and could probably be easily extended to creatures. --Lethosor (talk) 17:03, 15 September 2013 (UTC)
