Many times a situation will come, where an opponent you've just fought has passed out and you have other enemies around to fight. Finishing off the armored or thick-skinned with a headshot can require more than one strike, and sometimes you just can't afford it. Note, that even with the heavy spine and lung damage tough enemies still have a good chance of waking up and crawling after you.

Finishing off the armored or thick-skinned with a headshot can require more than one strike, and sometimes you just can't afford it. In this case, target the throat. Torn major artery will guarantee the victim will bleed out before regaining consciousness, thus letting you move on to next target immediately. Note, that even with the heavy spine and lung damage tough enemies still have a good chance of waking up and crawling after you. It's in your best interest to make sure that they die while unconscious.
