Template:Elven

All dwarfs love money, and a complete industry in all it's glory is the easiest way to make lots, and lots of money.

Traditionally industries have been broken into primary (resource extraction), secondary (the refining and reprocessing of these resources into goods), and tertiary (the selling of these goods).

Industries in dwarf fortres can be broken into the following categories. Note the the end products of one industry are often the inputs to another.

Template:L: Metal and leather are used to produce armor to keep your dwarves safe.
Template:L: Metal, wood and stone are used to produce weapons to keep the goblins away.
Template:L: Almost all materials are used to produce crafts for export.
Template:L: The production of food and alcohol to keep those dwarves alive and happy.
Template:L: The production of fuel used primarily in the metal industry.
Template:L: Using stone, wood, and metal to produce furniture primarily for instalation in your outpost.
Template:L: Raw gems are cut then used to encrust a multitude of items.
Template:L: Fish are processed into food and shells.
Template:L: Sand is used to creat low quality gems.
Template:L: Animals are processed into meat and leather.
Template:L: Thread is woven into cloth to produce clothing, clothing, rope, bags, and decorate crafts.
Template:L: Raw ore in refined into both pure metals and alloys.
Template:L: The production of soap to be used in healthcare.
Template:L: Growing and cutting wood to produce items including furniture and fuel.
Template:L: Mainly a tertiary industry, but requires plaster, crutches and furniture.
