This article is about an older version of DF.
A hideous monster that has the body of a giant mole-rat and the torso of a mole-rat man. It is found deep underground.

A Molemarian is a creature somewhat like a centaur, except instead of a horse it's a giant mole rat and instead of a human it's a mole rat man. Despite being descendants of relatively weak creatures a molemarian can easily kill an untrained dwarf. They are also able to equip weapons and armor and open unforbidden doors.

And if you're keeping score at home, a molemarian is 25% man and 75% mole rat.
