Wikipedia article

This article is about an older version of DF.
A small fish which can walk on the land and breath air. It burrows in the mud when things get dry.
Admired for its gulping.

Lungfish are a type of vermin fish. They are found in (and next to) tropical rivers, lakes, and pools year-round.

Lungfish are amphibious, and so are able to survive and move on land, where they are easy targets for cats and other vermin-eating domestic animals.

D4Dwarf.png This article or section has been rated D for Dwarf. It may include witty humour, not-so-witty humour, bad humour, in-jokes, pop culture references, and references to the Bay12 forums. Don't believe everything you read, and if you miss some of the references, don't worry. It was inevitable.

The lungfish is also well known for its playful nature and ability to fly. Several members have seen lungfish in the air above cascades. After conquering water and earth, it is only natural that these terrifying beasts conquer air. It is only reasonable to think than soon enough, they shall conquer fire as well, and we will see lungfish (but not !!lungfish!!) in magma.
