As of June 2014, the current version is r5; however there still may exist some compatiblity issues with plugins and scripts who have not been yet updated to r5 (because of development that has been halted for instance).

As of February 2014, the current version is r3; an unofficial r4 has been released but there exists as yet no public thread about it. Most of the plugins below are designed for r4, however beginner-friendly packs such as [http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=126076.0 PeridexisErrant's pack] support r3 only.
