Do doctors respect burrows?[edit]

  • well there were some doctors (x3) wandering outside, i'm not sure if they left the burrow or if they were there at first. i didn't see any enemies near the base, yet they kept going further away; there were corpses spread all over outside (i activated the burrow too late). Note that standard burrows only restrict where a dwarf may take a job--dwarves can and will leave burrows to "wander around" with no job, return to the location of a previous job (possibly a bug), or complete a job that they have already taken. A civilian alert, however, restricts civilians to a specific burrow, canceling jobs outside that burrow. In pretty much all defensive applications you'll want to use a civilian alert. --Loci 20:52, 21 February 2013 (UTC)
