Re: Silver
I can understand that the comments weren't necessary, but they are entertaining and *dwarfy*. This isn't wikipedia, we don't need to stick to strict style guidelines on formal writing. Having an offbeat tone and dwarfy sense of humor is part of the charm of the game, the forums, and this wiki. As quite a few people had come down in favor of keeping the old page, i've reverted your edit. Now, if it were factually inaccurate we'd have to change it - but as far as I can tell elves in game are dirty (soap is made of animal products) sandal-wearing (at least occasionally) tree-hugging (they call our poor dwarves butchers for cutting down trees) hippies (sort of follows from preceeding adjectives). If the shoe (err... sandal) fits... --Squirrelloid 09:49, 7 January 2009 (EST)
:I find it more tactless humor in the wrong place since it still has nothing to do with silver but more about wood. --Arleea 14:56, 7 January 2009 (EST)

Silver weapons, like wooden ones, have only 50% the efficiency of iron, making them a safer choice for sparring sessions. And while you have to trade with elves to acquire wooden weapons, you can make beautiful silver ones yourself. Also, the elves won't sell you proper weapons like hammers and axes, but only what comes down to wooden poles.
