Are you a raging alcoholic?

Do you feel unsatisfied with the *ahem* agriculture?

Want to get your dwarves absolutely wasted? (If only!)

Allow me to introduce:

[http://www.chickenninja.com/df/matgloss_alcoholmod_v1.3b.txt FFT's Alcohol Mod (v1.3b)] (Install by dropping into your \raw\objects\ folder.)

I felt that the available crops were somewhat lacking, personally. Not enough variety. So here's some variety!

:http://www.chickenninja.com/df/albinobean.png Albino Bean—Can be distilled into dwarven black grog or milled into dwarven bean flour. Can be cooked or eaten raw.
:http://www.chickenninja.com/df/albinocorn.png Albino Corn—Can be distilled into dwarven bourbon or milled into dwarven corn flour. Can be cooked or eaten raw.
:http://www.chickenninja.com/df/caveagave.png Cave Agave—Can be distilled into tequila. Has no other purpose, so the drink has a little bit more value.
:http://www.chickenninja.com/df/caveapple.png Cave Apple—Can be distilled into dwarven applejack, milled into dwarven apple sauce or extracted into a barrel as dwarven apple juice. Can be cooked or eaten raw.
:http://www.chickenninja.com/df/cavecotton.png Cave Cotton—Can be milled into dwarven cottonseed oil, or can be used for thread or cloth.
:http://www.chickenninja.com/df/cavejuniper.png Cave Juniper Bush—Can be distilled into gin or juniper oil can be extracted into a vial at a still.
Enjoy! There's nothing game-breaking, it just adds more variety.

Issues: if you do use this, you'll need to always customize your starting gear, as you'll end up with rock nuts and quarry bushes (or some other undesirable combination unless
you're lucky) for food. You'll have to create a new world for them to show up naturally in a cave, but you should be able to use them right off the bat in the embark section. I
have not tested this mod in adventure mode. Do not under any circumstances remove the file and then use a world in which this has been used, as it will only end in tears:
Hi folks! It seems that the links are dead, so I wanted to ask, if there is still a version around? --[[User:NobbZ|NobbZ]] 19:18, 2 January 2010 (UTC)
Crap, so they are. Unfortunately, I've physically lost the computer I had all of those files on, the only one I've still got is the food mod. I'll post that up, at least. --[[User:FFT|FFT]]

I remember using this in the old version. As I recall, the extracts in vials were extremely valuable.
