Never tested this with the current version, but I guess in DF Classic 50.xx window animations still work the same way? In this case, the deleted information is still relevant. https://dwarffortresswiki.org/index.php?title=Window&type=revision&diff=292988&oldid=278499 --[[User:GeloMor|GeloMor]] ([[User talk:GeloMor|talk]]) 12:11, 20 April 2023 (UTC)
==Slightly strange/incorrect wording?==
Hey there, it seems to me that the wording in the article may be a little inaccurate or at the least misleading as far as my testing has gone. The article states "A window is an item of furniture that can be constructed to form solid walls surrounding a room.", but in my testing, it doesn't function like a wall at all, and I didn't need to construct them surrounding a room.

So having read that, I went and use them _as_ walls, only to find that they definitely don't behave that way. Even weak elves during an ambush seem able to break them down. May I suggest wording it without in any way suggesting they're like walls, or that they must surround a room?

Hi! I wanted to see what all the different colors of windows looked like with Premium graphics (since there are so many), so I acquired/arranged/labeled them all in one image. I don't have the ability to upload files to the wiki, though, since I haven't made edits previously, and I don't have much else to contribute. If I give this image to an established editor/admin, could they incorporate it into the article? Or do I need to find 3 edits to make so I can add it myself? Thanks!
