Template:L with the cleaning Template:L enabled (default) will remove various contaminants from the floor after battles (or if Template:L are caught in closing Template:Ls). Interestingly, dwarves will also remove mud from tiles designated for Template:L (but not yet smoothed, in case your Template:Ls are busy).
