This article is about an older version of DF. |
Doors are a piece of Template:L used, among other things, to control the movement of Dwarves and define the exits of Template:L.
Materials
Doors can be made of Stone, Metal, Glass, and Wood. Artifact doors can be made out of just about anything.
Usage
Doors may be placed in any location adjacent to a solid wall. As room designations do not pass through them unless they are set to be Internal, they are useful for controlling the shape of rooms. They may be locked and kept tightly shut to keep out dwarves and animals respectively. When linked to a Template:L, they open without delay.
