Dwarf Fortress is a game for Windows, Linux and Mac, developed by Bay 12 Games featuring two modes of play, a distinct, randomly-generated world (complete with terrain, wildlife and legends), gruesome combat mechanics and vicious schools of carp. The wiki currently has 10,049 articles.
"One thing right off the bat, we discovered immortality and literal reincarnation. Not sure how but cool."
The latest version is v50.14, released on September 25, 2024.
