The magma kiln is a furnace used to create pearlash from potash. It uses the Furnace operator skill. Unlike a standard kiln, it does not require fuel, but instead must be built with its left or right center tile hanging directly over the magma flow.
Due to a bug, the tiles above the magma will not be treated as impassable, so any unit which manages to walk onto the tile and stop there will get stuck. See magma smelter for more details.
