The statement about volcanoes forming around the edge of oceans looks wrong to me. I was unaware of any such trend on the worlds I've seen so far. As I understand it, there is a magma activity map that varies across the the world and 'peaks' at certain points in the terrain creating volcanoes. I don't know how toady has implemented that, but I'm sure it has nothing to do with the rims of oceans. --[[User:Markavian|Markavian]]

The statement about volcanoes forming around the edge of oceans looks wrong to me. I was unaware of any such trend on the worlds I've seen so far. As I understand it, there is a magma activity map that varies across the the world and 'peaks' at certain points in the terrain creating volcanoes. I don't know how toady has implemented that, but I'm sure it has nothing to do with the rims of oceans. --Markavian
