A gigantic blue and orange bird.

Giant cave swallows are massive carnivorous birds which can be found in caverns.

Behaviour

Giant cave swallows aren't aggressive, and will try to flee from conflict if they can, but they can be dangerous, for even a single giant cave swallow is a worthy opponent for any lone, untrained dwarf, and as such they are best left alone.

Use

Giant cave swallows can be trained as hunting animals and are quite valuable (700) as pets. While they don't give as much meat as other giant creatures, all products made from them are twice as valuable as parts of domestic animals.

They can be used as mounts by goblin siegers. Yes, goblins on flying mounts is exactly as Fun as it sounds.
