It's a reference to Happy Tree Friends, I believe- specifically, to the character Flippy, a bear with PTSD so severe it causes him to go on a murder spree when triggered. That being said, that section almost certainly needs a rewrite. It's a reference to Happy Tree Friends, I believe- specifically, to the character Flippy, a bear with PTSD so severe it causes him to go on a murder spree when triggered.
