How is this actually stored in stockpiles?

Under Food > Misc liquid > Milk of lime just like lye is.
It is also to woth to note, that 1 quicklime produces 10 milk of lime.

Btw. just like lye it is stored in buckets (and yes, all 10 units from one quicklime fit into 1 bucket). I'm not sure the bug with lye in buckets in barrels/pots applies to milk of lime too, but just to be safe you might want to disable barrels in the stockpile you store your milk of lime in. I'm curious exactly where you got the idea that the reaction produced 10 units - from the very first version of Dwarf Fortress that had the reaction (from which you yourself copied them to this article's Raws page), it only produced *one* unit at a time. --Quietust (talk) 21:33, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
I've produced some at my fortress, and have it around in units of ten - from this, the erronous conclusion of it coming in ten units is natural, once one forgets they brought it from caravan. --Fleeting Frames (talk) 23:36, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
