Guten Tag!

Yeah, thats it. I dont really have to say anything more. Sorry. Im just a regular editor with a fancy user page.

What I do & like

I am a programmer, and do so in Java. I made a class library full of near-useless objects with a full Javadoc. You can leave me a talk message if you want it. Im also working on a Feed The Beast energy reference guide.
I am the "grammar patrol" on this wiki. If you ever saw an edit with as summary "grammar patrol was here" and always wondered what it was, then you will find out now. It basically means that I have fixed an extremely minor grammar error, spelling error, punctuation error or typo.
I agree that losing is fun, but I believe it is most fun when you already got a fully-fledged adventurous army with adamantine around every part of their body, so you can watch every last of the soldiers die gory when you released the Circus(IF they dont all die...!).
I also like to expand the help section at times. And I like fapping. I also enjoy tinkering with liquids in my fort, and I once blocked a river in a failed attempt to make a floodgate dam, causing a scary food shortage. I mined around the floodgates, saving my fortress. I nearly lost, haha. It also helped me realize how dependent my fortess is on fish.

This is a snapshot. This gets updated, but on a when-I-feel-like-it basis.

Ingame date: 2nd Slate, 22
Wealth: 2,357,927. Bam.
Dwarves died: 10
Vampires: 1
Attacks(7): 2 Forgotten Beasts, 1 werebeast, 4 thieves. There may be an elven ambush present(during a test of a human siege, I got 2 snatchers and a big elven ambush along with the siege), but I havent found them yet.
Elves killed: 12
Squads/soldiers: 7/67
Artifacts: 15
Population(390): 217 dwarves, 173 animals
Nobles murdered: None. I find intentionally killing nobles retarded.

Why do I?

  • If you kill any of those nobles you wont be able to perform a potentionally important task anymore, as well as causing unhappy thoughts on potentionally a lot of dwarves(especialy with the mayor, as he often has a lot of friends).
  • Killing the Leader/Mayor will prevent you from appointing most new ones if a noble turns out to be unsuitable or a vampire, or if you kill one.
    • Killing the leader because he keeps mandating junk is stupid.
  • Killing any militia leader will leave their squad without a leader.
  • Killing the hammerer will leave you unable to death-penalty a vampire or serious criminal. This might be good in certain cases(for example, a dwarf was convicted to hammering because he carelessly put a floodgate in the trading depot), but you are better off just removing him, convicting the dwarf, and reassinging the hammerer.
  • Killing the manager will prevent you from mass-producting something without a lot of hassle.
  • Killing the bookkeeper does not result in a very bad thing, but players often make the same dwarf both the bookkeeper as well as the manager.
  • Killing the broker will prevent you from trading, which isnt always as bad, but still causes unhappy thoughts.
  • Killing the chief medical dwarf will render the hospital unusable, as well as losing a potentionally skilled doctor.

Above all, intentionally killing your dwarves at all is stupid.
