DFConfig is a graphical utility for altering d_init.txt settings. A standalone version can be downloaded from here; the main forum thread is here. The utility is integrated into the Lazy Newb Pack—in fact, it's what the pack is built on—but users looking to "build their own" distributions can use the standalone version.
