These are the keys used in Adventure mode.

- ↑ ↓ ← → - Move
- Alt+(direction) - Move carefully or enter dangerous terrain
- < or Shift+5 (num lock off) - Ascend
- > or Ctrl+5 (num lock off) - Descend
- . - Wait for a step
- s - Stand or lie down*
- T - Fast Travel
- S - Sneak

*Use s to lay down then crawl past NPCs blocking your way.

Combat
|
|
|

- A - Attack an adjacent creature
- A then Enter - Change Mode to wrestle
- f - Fire a projectile
- t - Throw an item

- L - Search the nearby area very carefully (chance of discovering small creatures}
- u - Interact with building, furniture, or mechanism

- g - Pickup an item
- p - Put an item into a container
- r - Remove an item you are wearing or from a container
- w - Wear an item*
- I - Interact with an object in inventory (unstick a weapon, refill waterskin etc)
- x - Perform action (butcher, create item...)

*If you want to get a specific item from your backpack to your right hand (wield weapon): 1) drop current item from right hand, 2) [r]emove wanted item from backpack, 3) pick up wanted item.
