A gigantic blue and orange bird.

Giant cave swallows are massive carnivorous birds which can be found in caverns. Even a single giant cave swallow is a worthy opponent for any lone, untrained dwarf, and as such they are best left alone. Should you choose, however, they can be trained as hunting animals and are quite valuable (700) as pets. Butchering results in a Giant Cave Swallow feather.

They can be used as mounts by goblin siegers.
