Slabs are buildings which can be built from the build menu under Alt+slab. They can be made using one Template:L at the Template:L.

Slabs are used to memorialize dead dwarves in fortress mode and as signs in adventurer mode.

You can create a Template:L from a slab's query menu. Unlike Template:Ls, slabs do not block movement.
