As far as I can tell, based on Arena testing, many of the old 40d tags are still pertinent and function similarly under the new system(notable exception is the way that [LAYER:ARMOR] relates to [LAYER_PERMIT:#]). There mostly appear to be some deprecated tags(such as [VALUE], [WEIGHT], [BLOCKPOWER] and [SECONDBLOCK]). The only new tags I have spotted so far are [STRUCTURAL_ELASTICITY_WOVEN_THREAD] and [STRUCTURAL_ELASTICITY_CHAIN_METAL]. So I am going to copy most of the old info from the 40d armor token page. --PencilinHand 18:37, 20 April 2010 (UTC)

I can help clarify the UBSTEP, LBSTEP, and UPSTEP tags, I've done lots of testing on them. There's a bug with UBSTEP atm. http://www.bay12games.com/dwarves/mantisbt/view.php?id=1821 --Derigo 18:26, 11 May 2010 (UTC)

Maybe we modders should nerf the protection the Robe and Cloak give to the throat and head. Reducing UBSTEP. Making cloth yielf more to animal attacks. (V.31.12) --TomiTapio 14:57, 24 August 2010 (UTC)

Recheck

One of the fixes for 0.31.17 suggests that UPSTEP/UBSTEP/LBSTEP have been fixed. More research is in order. --Quietust 14:54, 16 November 2010 (UTC)

SOFT/HARD Tokens

SOFT and HARD do not control wear, as found in these discussions:

Additionally, the tokens do not oppose one another, as demonstrated by the fact that unmodded masks have both tags at once. Ahf 09:59, 5 January 2012 (UTC)
