Block Hauling

I can't seem to be able to haul blocks out of my workshops, consequently they're all cluttered horrendously. How do I get my haulers to get rid of them? --Nimblewright 18:04, 21 April 2010 (UTC)

Your dwarves should haul them to bar/block stockpiles. Do you have one with space free? If you have one and they're not doing it report it as a bug! Akkie 18:16, 21 April 2010 (UTC)

I had an issue with this as well (with wood blocks). Until the bug is fixed, I just deconstruct and rebuild my carpenter’s workshop, then I set a small garbage zone where I want the blocks to go and mark them for dumping, removing the zone and reclaiming the blocks once they’re all moved. --Frewfrux 22:28, 11 May 2010 (UTC)

Before you can be sure it's a bug, make absolutely sure you have all hauling jobs enabled on your haulers, as there are 7 different hauling skills. I'm not sure which one needs to be enabled in particular for block hauling, though. --Krillin6 22:46, 1 June 2010 (UTC)

Issue with Fey dwarf

My Fey dwarf seems to be staying in his claimed workshop, even though everything he wants is avaliable. I've checked and made sure that at least 2 of everything he needs isn't Dumped or Forbidden, and is avaliable.

I know Rock Bars could mean Metal Bars, but is there anything else it could be that he's requesting? There are Metal Bars avaliable to him, Metal Blocks, and soon to be Rock Blocks. What else could be possibly want that is keeping him from becoming a Deity glassmaker? --ANormalUsername 01:38, 4 May 2011 (UTC)
