Pressure plates at the entrance trigger the bridges, causing all three of them to raise to the south, ejecting all enemies into the magma below. It has worked sufficiently thus far, and the grand fort has recently celebrated it's 12th birthday, and the annual melting! All of the enemies that are caught by the numerous cage traps lining the entrances, caverns, and surrounding mountainside are stockpiled into the grand arena each year. If something interesting is caught that year as well, it is released as well. If the Fun doesn't go as hoped, the dungeon master always has a few tricks up his sleeve- a water reservoir, a magma chute from the volcano, or a herd of war jabberers to give the citizens the proper entertainment they deserve!

The fortress Wallweaken boasts an impressive kill count- over 1300 creatures were so satisfied with the fortress, they were judged to stay forever. Of course, the citizens make up a fairly small portion of these dead, a mere 80 souls, while the vile goblin scourge and their war beasts make up nearly 800.
