+ | :"grasping" is the ability to hold things. A dwarf, for example, can grasp things with his hands. He could have lost both hands in a battle, and consequently lose his "ability to grasp" (see also [[Wound#Scarring|here]]). That dwarf could not be a bookkeeper. Does bookkeeper really need to maintain accuracy?[edit]
I have never seen the bookkeeper start updating the stock records after he's done updating it at full. Plus, this webpage claims that the records stay "updated perfectly forever" under "Badass Bookworm". Who is right?--Guardian of Silverybearded (talk) 01:22, 13 January 2015 (UTC)
- While the wiki's not always right, tvtropes simply isn't a source of factual information. Bookkeeping accuracy very slowly decays over time. Updates are required every couple of years and go pretty fast, but if you have no functioning bookkeeper (removed the job or the office), precision rating will start dropping after a decade or so.--Larix (talk) 15:34, 13 January 2015 (UTC)
As a newcomer, what does the "cannot grasp, though" part of this mean? "Curiously, a bookkeeper does not require writing materials such as paper or scrolls to perform his job. Bookkeepers will be unable to do their jobs if they cannot grasp, though" -it doesnt look like it makes sense, so is it a typo or some different meaning? Thanks
