Crazy Narcoleptic Dwarf[edit]
I have this one dwarf who fell unconscious a lot while hunting yet somehow never died (saw her struggle back to life while a wolf was gnawing on her face and then woke up to kill the wolf)... since then I've taken her off hunting and she is constantly falling unconscious just doing mundane stuff like hauling stone. What gives? --DimensionWarped 03:39, 23 November 2008 (EST)
She's either poisoned or has missing eyes/limbs, I'd wager. I had a blind wrestler who had that problem. --Navian 11:21, 23 November 2008 (EST)
I had the same thing happen to a dwarf of mine. After embarking, I had my Axedwarf dispatch a few pesky Fire Imps, one of which inflicted Pain but left no visible wounds. After killing the rest of the imps, she went back to chopping down trees, and from then on would fall asleep randomly once every 1-2 days, usually in the middle of whichever important task I had assigned. --Telvannis 3:08, 17 November 2009 (EST)
My Baron received a head injury and was dragged back to the barracks. He's been unconscious for several years now. A Human diplomat has been waiting at his bedside for just as long. Any ideas? Where is the life support switch? --ccheney 0:49, 06 January 2010 (EST)

Unconscious Human Diplomat[edit]
So the human caravan arrived at my glacial fortress, but I found that their diplomat is unconscious. Is there anything that can be done for this poor man before he freezes? (And so that I can make the trade documents for the next visit?)
Rated D for Dwarf[edit]
What parts exactly involve witty humour, not-so-witty humour, bad humour, in-jokes related to the game, and references to the Bay12 forums? Is it the part about them being unconscious making food rot faster (because of drool)? Because honestly, this is Dwarf Fortress, and I wouldn't be surprised if that was just some ridiculous feature I hadn't heard of. --Señor Pwnage 22:57, 17 February 2010 (UTC)
