The Dwarf Multiplier is a game mechanic in which the number of dwarves you have in your fortress population proportionally correlates to the effectiveness of your fortress. The Dwarf Multiplier is a hidden stat which can only be read through an .exe decompiler; however, its effects can be seen in normal gameplay with careful observation. It is a global multiplier on a variety of automated processes including brewing, mining, crafting, slaughtering, and training.
