war animals dont seem to require burial. i don't recall if they had to be buried in 40d, but i thought they were. Zander j 20:35, 29 October 2010 (UTC)
Catch the bird
My dwarf is busy running after his (or her?) tame blue jay, flying between z levels in one of my rooms.

Cages & Pastures
I used to manage my pets via caging to prevent catsplosions, but it seems that pets can't be put in cages since pastures became available for management. Can anyone else confirm?
