This article is about an older version of DF.

A 'flower' is a plant growth. In comparison to fruit and pods, flowers do not contain seeds. In general, only flowers which are usable in some fashion will be collected and stockpiled by dwarves. Currently only date palm trees produce flowers that are usable in game.
