Fungus spreading through sandy clay cavern floors.
Floor fungus is functionally identical to cave moss and underlichen, differing only in texture.
As with most underground grasses, floor fungus only appears after a cavern containing floor fungus has been discovered.
It is harmless and can be used to graze animals, like an underground form of grass. Mushrooms may occasionally grow from the fungus.
