The spring always brings change, and I'm one of 'em. I guess they figured it was time for a bit of military discipline -- with the new year, I was asked by the populace to take control over more than just the grunts. So be it. I hope they know what they're gettin' in to.

During my time here, I have noticed that while we have a sheriff, we have no location where justice can be served! A small bribe to the quartermaster shows that we have only a meager stock of 6 rope chains. While this is a good start for our jail, we can build stronger and better chains for our more affluent criminals. I suggest we start on this right away while i find a location for our new jail. There is a nice location that has some platinum around it to replace our low stocks..

We seem to have a minor celebrity in our midsts, as fadingatedges has become our fortresses first AxeLord. I would throw a party, but there has already been one raging for a week now. I for one will petition our manager for new doors and other misc. items.

An Elven caravan arrived, and I hauled bin after bin to the Trade Depot...and it seems we bought the small amount of wood and ALL the cloth they had brought for our meaningless rock trinkets. The fools! They had no idea of our vast loads of captured armor and weapons, as well as our 'good' crafts. I suggested we rebuild our rock craft stores if only to use thee stones from the ground. With our newfound platinum, we should be able to construct very nice trinkets for trade with the Hu-Mans.
