Not sure about spinal nerve injuries, but I know for fact that dwarves with 'motor nerve served' will get crutches and become legendary at using them.

Not sure about spinal nerve injuries, but I know for fact that dwarves with 'motor nerve severed' injury in their legs will get crutches and become legendary at using them.
