EDITORS:

  • You will not be able to edit the announcements directly. Please post a request for any announcements on the talk page.
  • Please discuss any announcements on the talk page.
  • You can autohide the announcements automatically by including
    importScript('User:Briess/hideAnnouncements.js');
    in your Special:MyPage/monobook.js page.

ADMINISTRATORS:

  • If you want to force the announcement to show once for people who have auto-hide, go to MediaWiki:Common.js and increment the SiteAnnounce variable.
  • Changes just take a few minutes to work their way through cache, etc... you shouldn't have to do anything other than editing the page.
  • Please leave an edit summary or some notice on the talk page so the other administrators can look through and figure out what's going on, and what's no longer applicable.
