This building is part of the dwarven [[religion]] system and is the highest tier building you can create within it.

Like the altar, the temple allows you to offer a variety of items to Armok, in exchange for rewards and allows your priests to perform ceremonies which grant benefits to your dwarves. It also one of the ways to acquire a [[golem heart]] and the only way to receive or animate a [[guardian of Armok]].
