Caveat[edit]

Note that many browsers ignore text-decoration:blink (IE, Safari). So this will only animate for users of Opera and Mozilla, unfortunately. Also, it would be nice to be able to specify two characters between which to alternate; you can make them overlap relatively easily:

O<span" style="position:absolute;left:0ex;">X

I think that doing this right requires Javascript; do you know if that would be an option for us here? --HebaruSan 13:42, 10 November 2009 (UTC)

I know that many browsers ignore it... ;-( I just thought it would be helpful for the logic pages. And the worst thing that can happen would be that it does not work.
But I would prefer a JS-version with alternating letters, too. You could display how designations look like without the usage of gifs. --Kami 19:26, 10 November 2009 (UTC)
