1. Build the below design over a river, stream or brook to make the water stop flowing. 2. Apply power to the pumps. This will lag. 3. Build a wall or floodgates in the dry part of the river, to dam it permanently. 4. Stop powering the pumps. It will now stop lagging and your river is dammed. 5. Deconstruct the pumps and associated walls
