New Fort Checklist

  1. Draw new fort
    • start simple: barracks, partial grand hall, partial trade depot
    • should keep the miners busy
  2. Unload wagon (create stockpiles):
    • Wood
    • Food
    • Furniture (don't want your anvil stolen)
    • stone (only for stone you brought along)
    • bar/block (for your bars and blocks
  3. Gather Plants
    • should keep the herbalist busy
  4. Designate Trees to fall
    • will keep the woodcutter busy once he has an axe
  5. Create Axe
    • build forge, wood furnace and smelter
    • smelt copper
    • make charcoal
    • forge copper axe
  6. Create Beds
    • should keep the carpenter busy
  7. Create Doors Tables and Chairs
    • will keep your mason busy for a bit.
    • for your hall and an office
  8. Buildings
    • build beds into a barracks
    • build your Trade Depot
    • build your meeting hall
    • build your office
    • build your kitchen
    • build your still
