Orphaned pages are pages with no other pages linking to them. We don't delete orphaned talk pages, or user pages, and we (should) only delete orphaned articles when we can't find a reasonable way to make them unorphaned (or in other words, their content doesn't really belong on the wiki). In the case of the podcast, if I recall properly, I was the one who deleted the page initially as it only contained a few links that could easily be (<s>and I think are actually</s> actually they aren't on the front page, but should be) on the front page of the If you think you can come up with wiki-appropriate content regarding the podcast (not just a page with a few links), feel free to recreate the article.
