Real-Life information

"Brimstone" is a name for a native crystalline form of the element Sulfur, making it an mineral with the chemical formula (S). Sulfur is known for its distinct, pungent smell. Although the capability to make it is not present in Dwarf Fortress, Sulfur is one of the key ingredients in gunpowder.
